2019 Africa Science Week-Kenya: Compilation Video

Africa Science Week is an initiative of the Next Einstein Forum that takes place in 35 countries across the continent. The 2019 Kenya edition of the event, Africa Science Week-Kenya took place from November 4th to 8th 2019 and was sponsored by the Next Einstein Forum, the Mawazo Institute, and Johnson & Johnson Innovation.

 

 

2019 Africa Science Week: Nairobi Ideas Night: Working on it Edition - November 2019

In its fourth edition, Nairobi Ideas Night invited experts who are creating solutions to local developmental challenges i.e. ‘working on it’ to take the stage and share their work. Hosted as part of the Next Einstein Forum’s 2019 Africa Science Week - Kenya, our speakers were drawn from the fields of storytelling, technology, maths, conservation, and digital media.

 

 

2019 Africa Science Week: Girls in STEM Career Day

Watch highlights from our Girls in STEM Career Day held during the 2019 Africa Science Week - Kenya. Funded by the Next Einstein Forum and organised in partnership with the Mawazo Institute and Riara University, the event invited over 60 girls to hear from local women scientists and engage in fun maths activities planned by the African Maths Initiative.

Our second Women in Science Leadership Breakfast took place during the Next Einstein Forum’s 2019 Africa Science Week - Kenya.
