Report: The Impact of COVID-19 on Africa’s Higher Education System (2022)
Following Mawazo’s 2020 survey, into the early impacts of the pandemic on Africa’s higher education system, in late 2021, we prepared a more comprehensive survey. The findings of this survey, presented in this report, explore the ongoing impact of COVID-19 restrictions on classrooms and research, as well as other effects of the pandemic, including on family and domestic responsibilities, productivity, and career growth of researchers based in Africa.
