(re)SIP. (re)SEARCH. (re)SOLVE: Join us for an interactive evening to explore the journeys of African women researchers
Engage with us as we turn Nairobi Street Kitchen into a delightful and delicious think tank for the night!
Let your ideas flow and mind expand as we delve into the experiences of African women in research.
During the event, you will have the choice to either join a themed team or just contemplate solutions to challenges faced by women researchers through four different themes: (1) technology, (2) climate change, (3) gender and (4) Indigenous Knowledge Systems. Each team will be allocated 20 minutes to discuss, debate and decide their collective idea addressing a critical problem pertaining women in research. The critical problem they must address will be decided on that night. You and your team members will then have 10 minutes to present your collective idea. Thereafter, the audience will critique, counter, or concur with the solution.
This is a fun night, where we Sip our drinks, Search collectively, and Solve our societal challenges!
Kindly note:
1. There will be live photography and videography at the event.
