In honour of International Women's Day 2024, the Mawazo Institute will hold a series of events from Tuesday, March 05, 2024 to Thursday, March 07, 2024 to highlight the importance of recognizing women researchers as innovators.
The events will centre around discussions that aim to:
1. Understand the challenges faced by African women researchers in engaging with the innovation ecosystem that limits their ability to move their ideas from paper to reality.
2. Understand the unmet research needs of players in the innovation ecosystem in Africa.
3. Create synergies between research ecosystem and innovation ecosystem players in order to encourage the uptake of research innovation outputs by women.
