As part of Africa Science Week-Kenya (ASW-Kenya) 2019, we invite you to join us for a Women in Science Leadership Breakfast from 8:00 am to 11:30 am on Monday November 4th, 2019 at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Upper Hill, Nairobi.

Hosted for the first time in 2018, the Women in Science Leadership Breakfast is open to women only, providing a rare opportunity for African women in science to meet, become formally acquainted, and discuss topics of mutual interest and benefit, while growing their professional networks. In 2019, ASW-Kenya will host a moderated panel discussion with distinguished women professionals on the opportunities for women in science, followed by a brief Q&A session.

This year, the Women in Science Leadership Breakfast also features an “Under 30: Breaking Barriers” session inviting successful, women, scientists, who are under 30 to share stories of how they are using science, technology, and innovation for socio-economic development.
