Background

The Institute for Climate Change and Adaptation (ICCA), University of Nairobi, is partnering with the Mawazo Institute to host a climate week-long campaign through a series of virtual and in-person events around the theme 'Human Systems Transitions & Planetary Health''. The events are scheduled to take place between 21 – 26 March 2022.

Thematic Areas: Risks & Risk Governance; Human behavior, Impacts, & Planetary Health; Transformational/Contextualized Adaptation Science; Equity and Justice; Knowledge Perspectives & Human Capacity; Technology & Planetary Health; and Financing for Human Systems Transitions & Planetary Health.

 Call Targets: PhD students, scholars / academics, impact researchers & practitioners, and institutions / organizations across Africa & the Global South.
